Slade, KY US

Camp ground name:
Daniel Boone National Forest
Park name:
Red River Gorge
Description:

Really cool trails, caves that take at least 20 minutes to navigate (head light completely necessary!) and cliffs you can repel from (there are a couple of local guys that have gear to rent)  Put up your tent wherever you see a spot, no assigned spots.  Alcohol not allowed on trails due to drunk assholes falling off cliffs, sites no problem.  DNR was a little bit prickish, but again with the fact that you are camping on 300+ft cliffs i suppose they have to be a little strict.  Also FYI, they use "dogs".  Nick named "The Grand Canyon of the East", one of the best spots in the Midwest in my opinion.
